Pixiad.com
was created for use with the vast array of auction software
that requires ftp access to work. However, Pixiad still offers
you the ability to view your images and start an auction directly
from inside our control panel.
If you are
in need of Auction Tools then maybe Baypal.com
is the site for you. If you prefer to use ftp for your images
then
You can
also use Pixiad.com directly with Baypal. If you prefer to FTP
your images then you can use baypal's tools. View Below:
How
to use Pixiad and Baypal:
To use Pixiads hosting service with Sonny (Baypals ad creation
tool) all you need to know if the url of your pictures. The
url of your pictures are in the format below:
http://www.pixiad.com/~username/picture.jpg
You will need to replace the word 'username' with your pixiad
username and 'picture.jpg' with the name of your picture. You
can then copy and paste this url directly into Sonny's url boxes.
How
to start an auction using Pixiad's pictures by going directly
to Ebay.
To put an image directly on ebay all you need to do is get the
html source of your image and paste it into the description
box on ebay. Thats Right, put it directly in the description
box (the same place you put your ad!). To get the html source
you simply need to add one tag in front of your picture url
and one tag after your url:
Like so:
Here is the url of a person with the pixiad username of "joe"
and a picture name of "love.jpg"
http://www.pixiad.com/~joe/love.jpg
To get the html source of this image all you need to do is put
this tag in front:
<img src="
and this tag after:
">
So your final output will be:
<img src="http://www.pixiad.com/~joe/love.jpg">
pasting this directly into the description box on ebay's sell
item form will load your picture!
Pixiad
will automatically give you the html source of your picture
by logging into the control panel here
Once inside you can click on the blue question mark that is
to the right of your image. This will give you the html source
of your image which you can copy and paste directly into ebay's
description box.
